  Exciting News: Grand Opening of Our New Learning Spaces By Dr. Robert Motte, Superintendent Monessen School District is proud to announce another major step forward in our New Modern Monessen initiative—transforming classrooms and learning areas into innovative spaces that inspire creativity, collaboration, and future-ready skills. On Wednesday, October 23rd , we invite all families, students, staff, and community members to join us for the Grand Opening of our newly designed learning hubs at both the Elementary School and High School. At Monessen Elementary School Little Hound Hub – a vibrant media and collaboration center where our youngest Greyhounds can explore reading, research, and teamwork. New STEAM Lab – a hands-on space for science, technology, engineering, art, and math projects that nurture problem-solving and creativity.
